New Brokkr. New DeFi Investing Era.
Hello everyone, Brokkr is finally back! In less than one month, we will open the door to the new Brokkr. And the new Brokkr is pretty cool.
So.. What is the new Brokkr all about?

After the Terra debacle followed by the market crash, it became clear we need more stability, predictability, and clarity when investing in crypto. And that’s what we will pursue. Thanks to DeFi interoperability it’s possible to create stable strategies that perform well in any market cycle, are not dependent on one project only, and hedge users against price movements.
Brokkr will launch with a diversified stablecoin portfolio with USDC returns.

“Calm”, the first Brokkr Portfolio, aims to reduce market volatility as much as possible and be the stable harbor in any market condition. By consisting of stablecoin liquidity pools, the price movement and coin failure risk are minimized (no algorithmic stablecoins, RIP).

Not the highest returns in all DeFi, but sustainable and diversified returns free of market volatility.

Delta Neutral Portfolio. Hedged Returns.
The Delta Neutral Strategies (DNS) portfolio “Ambitious” will follow. DNS are more complex strategies that hedge against asset price changes. By combining and automating Lending and Yield Farm protocols, they neutralize the effects of price movements, essentially making a stablecoin out of any coin.

DNS used to be our core product on Terra, and we’re more than happy to bring them to Avalanche as well!
The Simplest App
We completely revamped the whole Brokkr App. We started from scratch with a clear focus on investing, leaving everything else behind. Thanks to that, we drastically improved the experience and the overall design.
Using Brokkr will be INTUITIVE.
Thanks to THORChain it will be possible to enter Brokkr with any coin and to connect strategies cross-chain.

The app is not the only thing we worked on, the protocol transformed as well.
- No more lock-staking. Welcome, Custom Unstaking Period.
Protocols use lock-staking to incentivize users to lock tokens for increased staking rewards. In the new Brokkr, we let you set a custom unstaking period, and until you activate it, you remain staked. This option simplifies the process as it is not needed to restake every week/month/year.
2. Bonding will be postponed as we don’t want to increase the selling sentiment right from start. Instead of bonding, we will run a Treasury Bootstrapping for longer lockups + Staking event with boosted rewards.
Many things have changed, but one remains, Brokkr is going to simplify DeFi and make it understandable. If you want to introduce friends to crypto and DeFi, Brokkr is the best place to start!
